Others have been asked to complete a similar form.

You can refuse to do it but I don't know what the consequences would be.

I was asked to report to the local police station several years ago to do a form and they also took my finger prints.

You have given the info to immigration and other places but the local police do not have it.

  1. Yes.
  2. The local police are supposed to keep a register of all the foreigners living in their area. This is separate to any immigration responsibilities/requirements.

Nope, "joined-up government" appears to be an alien concept in the corridors of power in LOS, I'm afraid.

And if the BIB are seriously expecting foreigners to complete this form why couldn't they have been bothered to provide a version in English in your case at least?
