BANGKOK: -- The Central Institute of Forensic Science of the Justice Ministry has been assigned to conduct CT scan3D of the body of former Phuket land official Thawatchai Anukul this Friday to examine its bone structure without an autopsy, said Mr Visit Visitsora-ath, director-general of the Juvenile Observation and Protection Department, on Tuesday.

Although the fact-finding committee has received the autopsy report from authorities concerned, he admitted that the actual cause of the victim’s death still could not be ascertained as more examinations are needed, hence the CT scan3D examination.

The fact-finding panel, he added, will need another 15 days to wrap up its findings, said Mr Visit who heads the committee.

Oh great,  a specialist scan could help but for the fact that it will prove or disprove exactly whatever's needed and not necessarily the truth.

They clearly (IMHO) have a desired outcome set already and are searching for anything to support that position.

A regular investigative procedure here, don't start at the beginning and work forward to the most logical conclusion but rather start with the desired result and work back to make everything fit.

they are really making a good show of making it look like they are really examining this.

We all know where this is going! But they are naive enough to think that we don't, or perhaps they just don't care whether we believe them or not.

I wonder if any numbers from the phone book used are imprinted on his liver? Just asking.
