micky Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Hi, I would be visiting Bangkok sometime next month. Please kindly recommend me a good, clean & comfortable hotel ranging from Bt.1000 to 1500. Location: Silom-Suriwongse area. Also how much is the taxi or tuk tuk fare from the railway station to Silom-Suriwongse area. Which reliable tour agency would you recommend. You help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Search sponsors, with their websites you don't need any agency. Don't know how much a taxi would be, it's cheap anyway. Tuk-tuk cut the price on the spot, could be anything, a rip-off I mean. Avoid.

davidbkk Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Theres a hotel on Suriwongse called the Manohra. its a bit tired, but clean and cheap (about 1000 walk in, you can probably get a better deal on sawadee.com or somewhere like that). Has a big buffet breakfast which makes it even better value.
