Does not make her crimes any less and she did the same with Oak and others.. but nepotism is not a good thing not by the army.. not by the PTP. What you saying is as good as pissing in the wind as you fully know who is in power with all the draconian laws and intimidation. Just how many times you need to be convinced that the military is beyond investigation. Just talking about the generals assets are off limits and a visit to the Park had some students arrested and charged. Nepotism and corruptions are all there to be seen and no one can do anything in this government. Meanwhile others got investigated and charged. mesterm
I don't support Yingluck and her brother, but we have to admit she's the only one who can ask this question loud enough for the media to bring it to the fore.

anon467848
"enforce the law fairly".... That's rich coming from somebody who flagrantly flaunted said laws.. This is a complete dog and pony show and is a waste of tax payers money. Nothing will ever happen to Yingluck for fear of upsetting a certain Dubai resident. Any ill gotten gains were moved offshore a long time ago, and any other perceived assets she has left in Thailand will be under proxy names... Not to mention that currently there have been trillions of baht worth of infrastructure contracts pushed through at high speed by section 44,that nobody is allowed to investigate. And even if there is an investigation concerning the above, the general answer will be, nothing to see here, move along quickly now. Not saying any of stakeholders are better than the other. But at least the people could investigate and criticise the last group.

Maybe you were including the PAD supporting Democrats such as Suthep (and now his son) who enriched themselves with large tracts of land that didn't belong to them but I somehow think not. Alwyn
Here's the thing. In Thailand there is one rule and one rule only. Might is right. End of story. We can sit here talking guff about a country that had a totally different set of belief systems to us, a totally different outlook on life but we can't judge them as we judge by our belief systems - which are different. Whoever is in the driving seat, whether Yingluck, Abhisit or the General, they are all right - while they are in the seat.... When they're ousted, they're no longer in the seat, so they're now in the wrong. It's simple. I personally thought and still do.. That YL is a 'better' person than the General. Going back to 'might is right', this was her downfall. When she tried to push through an amnesty bill for her brother, a lot of his enemies pooped their pants at the thought of him being back and seeking his revenge, so she had to go. Now we have a new 'might is right'. The cycle will keep going.
