THE Central Corruption Court

Officially called the Central Court for Corruption and Misconduct, it is part of the Criminal Court. The court is located in Bangkok's Dusit district.

Lawsuits may be filed directly with the court or other lower courts. The Criminal Court also accepts corruption lawsuits.

With almost 3000 cases pending, and God knows how many more to come, this country would need two dozen more such courts to ensure cases are concluded within 5 years...

Come back in 50 years time!

They need to build another 30 and another 50 prisons to keep all the offenders in !

From another story about corrupt officials:

Quote

Eight out of the 62, ranging from local officials to high ranking ones including director generals, had been fired and 25 were discharged. The rest received less severe penalties including salary cuts, probation and warnings.

Who needs more jails?

I guess they will be handing out queue numbers.

Maybe corruption courts to specifically handle military and police cases. That will reduce dramatically the number of cases.

Unfortunately, cancer cells have spread throughout the body.

It's the non-cancerous cells that are going extinct...

Probably just another stunt to stimulate the brown envelope industry

I heard the court is fully booked with cases for the next 100 years.

Traffic jams projected.

A cynic might think:

First Day:

1. First order of business - receive instructions from the Elite, senior Military and Police about who is untouchable and unconvictable.

2. Open the brown envelopes, lunch boxes, etc...

Should be a 24--7 operation!!
