When I search for teaching positions, I mainly see jobs posted for BKK. I am interested in coming to Isaan. I have a native english speaker from California with a  BA degree, Tesol certificate, and am currently in Phuket. Please PM me if you may have any leads on employment.

I usually capitalize English, but that doesn't matter. Do you have a native English speaker, or are you the NES who's looking for a job?

You wrote "am", not he/she/'s currently in Phuket, which seems to be you. Your "leads on employment" are slim if your resume contains similar mistakes.

You're interested in coming to Isaan...how do you have a NES from California? Okay, that's what you've got to offer, right?

I'm not making jokes, but your post is so unclear that it's not visible who's looking for employment.

One slip of the pen and you crucify the guy. Obviously meant 'am' and english does not need to be capitalised in that context (with an s if you want to teach Queen's English - defined term so can be capitalised, or not).

The best way to find a job is some legwork. Most schools are closed until 1st of November, but it's worth to print a few sets of your resume out and go to some schools in your preferred area.

Isaan is about 33 % of the whole country and plenty of schools that are hiring ( maybe after firing) for the second term.

You could check www.ajarn.com and other websites as well.

A lot of schools are seeking teachers but they don't advertise. If you could be a little bit more specific about the place you prefer, it would be a lot easier to give an answer.

Best of luck finding a good position, it's quite difficult to find a school that offers you a 12 month contract, but it's possible.

Please don't work for any agencies, or agents. Ubon Ratchathani is a bigger and great city in the lower northeast, please check the link : http://www.ajarn.com/recruitment/browse_jobs/index.html

Once in Ubon Ratchathani, you could also do some legwork and go from school to school. Ubonwittatakhom ( in the center of town, called Kilo soon) Nareenakhul ( a high school that's usually always seeking teachers with a British curriculum EP) plus plenty of other schools. Benchama, a well known high school with an EP, etc...

        Best of luck.

It wasn't crucifying, just pointed something out that could be a huge problem if that happens in your resume.

Oh yes it does. English is a proper noun and as such must be capitalized.

The only time it is not is when it is used as a common noun in pool, billiards or bowling games.

Lost in Isaan is absolutely spot on.

I have been in a position of reviewing resumes for English teacher positions.  If these skill errors showed up in a resume, this one would have gone straight to the trash can for it's ambiguity and capitalization error.  Not being unreasonable.  When you're holding a stack of 10-12 resumes for English teachers, this is usually the first filter.  Easy.  You don't want a person like this to be responsible for correcting the grammar and mechanics in your students' writing.

If the OP wanted to make a good impression on possible connections/schools by their post, it also doesn't inspire much confidence.

I've posted quite a few job adds for three schools and I guess you know what sort of resumes you usually receive.

You're absolutely right. If there're many resumes to check, "little mistakes" like the ones in the OP's post will be immediately deleted. And the sender maybe blocked that you don't get another one.

        Thanks for the heads up.

Normally, grammar/spelling etc. "policing" is understandably discouraged on TV posts.  However, I believe an exception is probably being made due to the nature of this post and its intent.  The poster is looking for a position, which, by his/her very own post, might disqualify him/her in the eyes of many readers--who might otherwise would have recommended him/her or helped make a connection.
