I wonder what it cost to Fly Air Force One ?

The Air Force said it costs $228,288 an hour to fly Air Force One. Regular 747 costs about $24,000 an hour to fly.

what a waste of money

the purpose seems to be just a nice vacation

The governments before did those things - no reason to copy them

Have you ever seen the number of fluffers and handmaidens lower level officers have at their disposal? Now multiply that by his position as 2 nd in command in the country. He has more than likely studied the size of the entourage of other members attending God knows what and did not want to be seen as a little man (which he obviously is) in the eyes of the attendees. Be careful chubby cheeks there are sharks in Hawaiian waters. They make take a chunk out of your Speedo

There we go, I've waiting for it, a "....but but Thaksin" with a veiled justification. The fanboys can't just issue a straight criticism of their beloved junta.

So any guesses as to why passenger number 8.  ,   Vice President of CP Group is on a Asean -US security  meeting in Hawaii?

And passenger number 38. , What role was he needed for on the now infamous Hawaiian meeting?

Then there a lady TV presenter claiming she canceled her place on the plane but there seems to be some happy holiday snap's of her and others enjoying the Honolulu sun...

And was staying at Disney's resort was the only Accommodation available???

According to this passenger list provided by fxe1200, it would appear the aircraft was a Boeing 747-400 (744) configured with 10 Royal First, 40 Royal Silk Business, and 325 Economy Seats.

If this is so, then the blue dots in the image below show the seating arrangements for the party (red dots are the three additional members for the return trip):

It is not the charge/cost that I am concerned with, it is the bringing an entourage of almost 40

people for a short informal meeting. 5-6 people flying business would have been much

more appropriate and cost efficient. With 40 people on a private chartered flight it seems

35 were on a holiday junket while 5-6 flunkies were left to do the work. :whistling:

It all seems to be hitting the fan this evening on Thai TV about this individual, including plenty of photos substantiating her presence.   :hit-the-fan:

the meeting did not just discuss defence cooperation but other issues of importance such as human trafficking and, hence, the need for officials concerned with the issues to attend the meeting.

I believe the meeting even discussed Thai food, hence the need for parasites.
