Arrest drug dealers, no one's complaining about that, but do it on the basis of evidence not colour. 

Soi 3 is not a white area. Mostly middle eastern and African. It is no surprise if they are searching people that white people would not be in those numbers. Some people are too sensitive and think everyone is a racist. It's about getting drug dealers off the street so instead of the PC gang standing in the way of the police why don't they support those trying to save Thailand from this scum.

They only stick to places like Nana and Pratunam to "reduce crime", because if they'd swoop down on certain areas of, for example, Din Daeng, Klong Toey, Charoen Krung or Yannawa, where local petty and capital crime of any type and description is incredibly high, they'd 1) need way more than a mere 200 officers, 2) would most likely be greeted by a hail storm of bricks, rocks and other assorted missiles, and 3) very probably would be unable to make any arrests as an angry and aggressive mob protective of their own would rush them.

 

On the other hand, they once again needed to do some window dressing to show those distinguished ACD delegates what a fantastically tough and effective force they are, and also because the country's face - once again! - is at stake.

 

Hey, they even failed miserably in arresting a single certain monk on several occasions. So can you really blame them that they choose an easy target?

It's not how they work. You really think Nigerians are stupid enough to sell out of a backpack? None of the groups pushing drug sales carry anything for obvious reasons, they have a system where a courier arrives and makes the transaction that way he is only in danger for 30 mins during transit so the risk is very very low of getting caught.

No the only way to chip away at these vermin is bust them for visa and passport violation.

So, let's have some fun with numbers...

 

12,500 murders in the USA each year, and 51% is 6,400 committed by blacks  (rounding for simplicity).

 

300,000,000 million people in the USA so 13% is 39 million blacks  

 

6,400 murders committed by 39 million people is one murder for every 6,100 black folks.  

 

So I quake in my boots every time I get close to one of them...  Maybe we should arrest them all.  So we can all feel safer.  Well, 87% of us anyway.  Then we'll go after the Hispanics (or the Asians).
