Recognized US University List?

I'm looking into completing an online degree to then be able to teach in Thailand. Someone gave this link http://203.21.42.34/acc/search/internew/maininter.html, however, for some reason the US isn't listed in the different countries. Does anyone have a similar list for US universities?

The US Federal Govt. does not certify Universities. Accreditation is done by various organizations run by different states or even by groups of universities themselves.

The only way to see if a US university is ok is to check which organization has accredited that particular university and then check the accrediting organization to see if it looks legit.

The US Government does provide a searchable database of accredited institutions and accrediting organizations.

I believe regional accreditation is what people generally look for. But indeed, you've been given a good link for info.
