I believe The Grauniad headline is incorrect:  the report only refers to homophobic hate crimes reported to the police in London - not across Britain.

More jumping on the bandwagon.. Maybe they could just move to LGBT Europe ?

Any evidence for this?  The Guardian article specifically says "in the UK".

The report was produced by GALOP, the "Gay London Police Monitoring Group".  It monitors gay hate crimes reported to the London Police.
