Part of my Thai family have visited my wife and I this last weekend and their quiet and dignified  sadness of losing our beloved King has touched me and made me so aware of the finer points of my family and their complete love and affection for the King and equally important  each other.

I consider myself to be well experienced in life, having experienced many personal losses of family, dear friends etc  and have been very surprised at my own emotions  and sadness during this last few days since the death of the King.

Maybe I am becoming a little bit Thai, I certainly hope so becasue the way that they handle their personal relationships with their families is definitely a lesson for me in "Loving"!

From taking care of just not their own Mums and Dads and extended family they also take care of people totally  unrelated to them, reminding me of my own upbringing in a small village on the outskirts of the  borders of Lancashire and Yorkshire where it was just  the same, no lonely older person ever suffered from loneliness or isolation caused by the death of a spouse  and these folk where included if there was anything going on in the village at all times.

So I grieve for the sad loss of our dear  King together with my family and send my deepest condolences to the Kings family and his people.
