......own Chihuahuas.

Had a Malaysian bloke move into the soi. He brought two Chihuahuas with him.

He used to go to work and leave the two dogs outside, locked in, alone all day. The dogs yapped continuously for seven, yes, seven hours with maximum break times of five minutes. This happened at least three days in a row.

The continuous yapping drove everyone mad. The owner of the house the Malaysian rented from received so many complaints and threats to move out, that he told the bloke to do something about it.

Now, the dogs are locked in when he goes to work. You can still faintly hear their yapping and they still do it continuously.

Just like most Asians, he didn't train them, so, I'm hoping these devil dogs crap all over the inside of his house.

From what I have read, people who work with dogs for a living, dislike these dogs as they are nasty, mean, bad-tempered and they bite!

Apparently, they are so stupid that they are almost un-trainable.

Every time I see them I just get that urge to drop-kick them to see how far they will go.

I like all other breeds (especially mutts), but, Chihuahuas have more in common with rats than dogs.

I beg your pardon!!!!!

Chihuahuas -- at least those I have known, including my current pet - can be wonderful dogs. And very smart. Most definitely not "nasty and mean"...and they will bite only if they perceive a threat. (They can be vociferous watch dogs, though). They are loyal and affectionate, clever dogs.

(mine can even use the computer )

Seriously, though, the behavior you describe is not typical of Chihuahuas (nor is it in my experience attributable to lack of training alone). Something is seriously wrong with these dogs, the owner is not taking proper care of them.

Blame him, not the poor dogs.

I don't think it's the breed of the dog but the owner  .I live in a small development the older Thai lady behind me has 4 dogs. Constantly yapping all day and into the night. It must be the Thai way not  to complain as I have been here 4 months and it's constant .

Yesterday I went to talk with her again. 2nd time. She just doesn't seem to care to her neighbors are disturbed. I suggested she buy a muzzle to train the dogs not to bark but she just laughed and walked away.
