Apologies for the laziness of this post.  I have read a few articles on the forum but I just need some clarity on my actions for selling an old bike here in Pattaya.

I bought it about 6 years ago and due to unexpected events had to return home a year after.  It hasn't been taxed or insured for 4 years as it has been locked up the whole time.  I want to give it to a friend of mine but need to get it signed over.  I have the Green book from the start.  I have been told to go through an agent.

What's the best way to get it transferred over without me being present?

Your presence at sale is not required but normally a certificate of residency from Immigration is needed.

So if you are not in country, not possible.

Just have your friend get it inspected and pay back fees.

He can drive it then.
