This being Thailand I doubt they would allow outsiders in as all items have already been assigned to local mobsters at pre-determined bargain prices.

This post was a bit of a give away :giggle:

Starting price was set to 43 million baht.  So some one made a good deal ......

Unless you talked about know what people would bid beforehand

But if I had forecasting powers like that would consider playing the lottery even here in Thailand

.....do you think that all those 'giveaways'.....would be given away to the likes of those that they were taken away from....???

...think back to a schoolyard or playground....

...a few bullies surround you....

...take your football.....

...maybe even your running shoes....

...and do what they will with them......

...countless Thai  criminals...even drug dealers....

...never seen them 'punished' anywhere near that degree....

Don't you know the Thai tourist bureau motto "Don't tread on us" You mess with tourism thats like destroying the Holy Grail or like in the USA "Don't Mess With Texas"

It comes under the heading of recycling foreign merchandise. I guess it tends to send a message to any and all "illegal" tourism operations here and I am sure there are many. Don't stray or you pay.

It was announced in the media last week that the auction was due to be held, so no one to blame but yourself for missing it.   It's amazing how there is always someone on the most unlikely of places such as Thaivisa who would have made a bid.

And yet more nonsense from Bob12345.  Anyone can register to bid at AMLO auctions and if, as you bizarrely claim, all items were pre-assigned why were there many unsold lots?

Ahh, so that's what happened to you.  It would perhaps explain your issues.

It seems that you post the same comment every few days in response to most OPs.  You really need to keep up to date with the arrests of Thai drug dealers and confiscation of their assets which have been re-reported here...as you well know.

This being Thailand I doubt they would allow outsiders in as all items have already been assigned to local mobsters at pre-determined bargain prices.

You're wrong, everybody is welcome to place a bid. Deposit must be paid beforehand, total payment on the spot.
