That is what most immigration offices will say. They do not enforce the TM28 reporting since they are fully aware it would be almost impossible to do. Just do one if you change addresses.

It is a bit like some offices want the TM30 if you leave and re-enter the country. Many don't want a new one unless you move.

Same for me when SWMBO asked our local office.

You're lucky . At my immigration office , if they find out , that's a fine and cancelling my extention or refuse to give another retirement extention.

Last month when I got back from Europe, I went as usual to report within 24 hours at the Police office close to the Immigration near the airport..... they left in my passport the old receipt and just wrote a number by hand on it.... the officer wrote something in a book and told me that my landlord did not need to come to fill up a new form....

All Immigration Offices appear to act as independent franchises hence the confusion.

Rules come and go,what is a rule today will be forgotten about tomorrow.

Just have to learn to live with it.

Been out came back went to immigration with new tm 30 for same address as old one but new departure card. ."why you waste time coming you not moved don't need Tm30 every time you come back thailand. ONLY if you move) so we won't bother again.
