Israel appeals for U.S. not imposing solution on Israeli-Palestinian conflict

They could have a people swap, same as India and Pakistan did in 1948 .

All the Palestinians get out of Israel and all the Israelis move back there .

Again, there is no official formulation promoting this point of view, and doubt it will be well received locally and internationally. The Palestinians (or Israeli Arabs, whatever) living within Israel's borders are Israeli citizens - it would be legally and morally problematic to make them relinquish their rights en masse. Most plans refer to territorial exchanges under which no change of citizenship will be required.

They are not just settlements, they are ILLEGAL SETTLEMENTS, strategically placed to deny Palestinians much more land than the ILLEGAL SETTLEMENTS actually occupy.

How much Palestinian land do Israeli settlements really eat up?

If you say so. My point was equally valid whether you include that adjective or not.

No your point was not equally valid, you are being disingenuous, simple splitting hairs.

Dude. I wasn't addressing the legality question either way. I was commenting that settlements and complete annexation are not the same thing. That's a fact.

You're being silly. Complete annexation if that ever happened would represent a radical change in policy.

It should also be mentioned that most if not all Israeli arabs would not want to live in a Palestinian state, even arabs in E Jerusalem are applying for Israeli citizenship.

Hillary Clinton will win.

The majority of Israelis favor Hillary Clinton because they recognize an unstable nutcase when they see one (trump), so Clinton is seen as more stable. Some may be surprised by that considering that most Israelis don't like Obama.

Hillary Clinton will obviously be more pro-Israel than Obama.

Sorry, Israel demonizers, there is no good news for you in this U.S. election.

She lost, hahahahahahaha

No contest. Israel is a nuclear power, thanks to the US.

Wrong, Israel didn't need US help they did it by themselves. If anything the US were surprised when they realized Israel had the bomb

Yes I'm shocked and so is the world. It's confusing for Israel. What is he? Does he even know himself? He mouths right wing pro Israeli stuff yet at the same time allies himself with isolationism. Also the oddness of his support base including Nazis and his campaign ads using classic antisemitic rhetoric without mentioning Jews. Surely Israel and the world except Putin would have been better off with Hillary. Too late.

Do explain how USA is responsible to Israels alleged Nukes ?

The USA did their utmost to try to stop Israel building Nukes

On the contrary the US looked away all the while that Israel was developing its nukes, when it would have been easy for the US to pressure the Israelis to stop since US support was huge and vital for Israel.  It is believed that the US govt allowed the Israelis to steal 200 pounds of nuclear material from Pennsylvania in the 1960's.

The Reagan administration probably assisted the Pakistanis in developing their nukes during the 1980's in exchange for letting the CIA run their support for Al Qaeda through Pakistan, which the Pakistanis were not thrilled about.

Predictably Israel sees the new clown president trump as an isolationist and also confusing because the word salad he spouts is literally all over the map.

Good luck to all because we're gonna need it with such a bizarre unqualified character holding the most powerful office on the planet!

Donald Trump Won’t Push for Mideast Peace: Secret Israeli Dossier

The document, the contents of which were obtain by Haaretz, stresses that Trump’s statements during his campaign do not indicate a coherent policy on the issue.

...

The main message of the paper, which represents the position of the ministry’s professional echelons, is that the Trump administration is expected to conduct an isolationist policy.

...

“Trump has expressed contradictory positions on key issues and it isn’t clear if this reflects a practical policy,” the document says.

While it's a bowel-liquifying scary thought, that old bar debate rebuttal doesn't quite hold up. Nor is it anywhere close to that simple.
