I come to Thailand back in December 2015  looking for a condo I look in ubon found company ,icondo they just starting to build so I put a down payment of about 10% when finished I pay off the remaining balance about 2 months later I married a Thai women the condo will be finished in June 2017 then give the last payment ,, so if I divorce will this condo remain mine after ,, thanks ben

Yes, it can remain yours if you divorce, but you need to absolutely be able to prove you paid for the whole condo with your own money.

This means you need to keep all of the sales contracts, bank transfer forms, copies of the FET form. Absolutely everything. As a precaution, also get everything scanned and emailed to yourself.

In Thai law, the assumption is that after the date of marriage everything becomes joint property unless you can prove the item was purchased using money that belonged to you before marriage.
