PHUKET: -- A Russian family, including an 8-year-old girl, were rescued from the sea after the tour speedboat they were travelling sank near Koh Hong in Krabi yesterday (Nov 8).

Democrats' path to Senate majority slipping away

NBTC board approves Bt2.5-bn subsidy for digital TV

City administration braces for heavy rains on Thursday

In anticipation of heavy rains for the time being until Thursday as forecasted by the Meteorological Department, the City Administration has instructed all districts, especially in 21 areas identified as vulnerable to flooding, to install pumps and to discharge water out of klongs into the Chao Phraya river to leave more space to absorb rain water.
