Not Expensive Hotel Near Embassy In Kuala Lumpur ?

if somebody else made experiences in Kuala Lumpur,

where to stay near the Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur,

and where is the Embassy, when i arrive with the Bus to KL,

is it far ? if somebody give some information for this,

Thai Embassy is at 206 Jalan Ampang. Same street (jalan) as the Petronas twin towers.

Just get a taxi from the bus station to the Embassy, not so far, and meter taxi's in K.L.

are even cheaper than Bangkok.

i was also looking for a hotel or something inexpensive to stay,

but my mate is allready on the Way to Kuala Lumpur, maybe she get some other information on the Way...

It's good to see the cheaper petrol prices being put to good use.

There's quite a few cheapish hotels in jalan petaling, chinatown. It's a short taxi ride from Jalan Ampang.

There's also a metro from Pasar Seni - KLCC/Ampang Park stops are in the same area as the Embassy (not sure how far tho).
