KHON KAEN: -- Flash flood caused by heavy rainfalls swept through Khon Kaen township on Thursday inundating several communities, including over 200 houses in a housing estate.

The level of flood water ranges from 50-80 cm and there is no sign that the level of water is receding.

A resident of Wang Sapsin housing estate in Tambon Ban Ped said that the estate was flooded every year because it lacks drainage system and water cannot flow out of the estate because it is surrounded by many other housing estates.

Khon Kaen governor Pongsak Preechawit visited the flooded housing estate and ordered relief materials to be sent to the flood-hit victims.

Just about explains the Thai mentality

Think it's time I started a business manufacturing small boats.  As an ex-pat, I have confidence in my 49% of each boat but I am a bit worried  about the other 51%.  :whistling:
