Court rejects Jatuporn’s request for bail

BANGKOK: -- The Criminal Court on Thursday rejected Jatuporn Promphan’s third request for bail, claiming that there was no reason to change its earlier order to withdraw his bail.

The chairman of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship claimed, in his request, that he had been detained for about a month now since the court revoked his bail on October 11 and it was enough time for the punishment for his speech which was deemed an infringement of the court’s order.

Jatuporn noted that the situation now has changed from the situation before the court scrapped his bail. He also said that he had wished to pay tribute to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and he believes that no one would dare to incite unrest now that the country is in the mourning mood.

PS - why are they not showing him in his new prison style leotard in bright orange

Third attempt? He sure is missing being in the limelight with his gap opened...

He was saying before, he was not afraid to go to prison,

now he's inside ,he's doing all he can to get out, lets just

forget about him and leave him in there.

No assurance that the behavior won't be repeated over and over again. The mentality of a child, just let me go this time. Leave him where he belongs.

Missing the high life and the hand outs from Dubai, eh Fatso?

Give him another chance. I know he will change his ways :)

He did nothing wrong, he politely and peacefully asked that the referendum be monitored by people from every group.

good news - more of this please aren't there some other guys still on bail undeserved?
