trump is failing even when judged on his own terms, as a business leader.

But we knew that --

Would You Let Trump Run Your Company?

Of all the ways to measure Trump, judging him as a chief executive would seem to be fairest.

Some off topic posts and replies have been removed.

Although this is a very broad and general thread, posts which are doing nothing more than making idle speculation on matters unrelated to the presidency have been removed.

I think there is enough documented or sourced material.

West Wing aides brace for big attorney bills

"President Donald Trump has deep pockets to pay for personal lawyers to defend him from the evolving federal investigation into his campaign’s contacts with Russian officials, it’s a very different story for his staff."

"White House aides bracing for subpoenas and grand jury summons have already begun making inquiries for legal help to navigate the unfamiliar terrain, according to lawyers who have been contacted, opening critical lines of communication in a bid to avoid serious harm to their reputations and careers, and perhaps even jail time."

“I do think people should be lawyering up,” said former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg."

They're starting to realize that following Trump's order could land them in hot water.  You or I would have realized that weeks/months ago, but the wheeler-dealers now in the WH are stupid people.   ......all led around by their noses, by a man who can't even lie well.

Here's an article which articulates much of what's happening with Pence - who is one betrayal-kiss away from becoming president.  It outlines much of what insightful people who have been following the news, have deduced.

Glad more are talking about Pence. It already looks like Trump is going to self-destruct. More focus should be put on Pence—he's more dangerous and won't be anywhere near as self-damaging as Trump has been. That means he'll be more effective at damaging the American secular liberal democracy and turn it towards illiberal theocracy. This guy is worse than the corrupt grifter nutcase that Trump is; he's an honest to goodness religious nutcase.

No, not me!  _ It's too early for impeachment. We need to wait until there is enough evidence gathered to remove Pence also, and not only impeach Trump but to bring criminal charges against him, Kushner and his three little piggies. I am all for locking them away for so long that Melania gets to spend all the money. She truly deserves it putting up with the slob. Impeaching Trump now will just let Pence in as POTUS and the fact is that Pence is as accomplished a liar as Trump.

 Sure. Why not?

"We believe president Trump has committed constitutional breaches, consistently lied, cheated, and enforces laws that primarily benefit him and his billionaire friends at the expense of the country.”

Sounds valid to me.

Any true Patriot who puts country before party should.

Does that include you?

Bowing to hypocrisy: Donald and Melania Trump contradict the president’s old tweets on first day of foreign trip

Trump and Fox News blasted former President Barack Obama for bowing to the Saudi king, so Trump does it anyway.

Twitter co-founder apologizes for helping elect Trump

"The co-founder of Twitter apologized Saturday for the social media platform’s role in Donald Trump’s rise to the White House."

"In an interview with the New York Times, Evan Williams said that he recently learned that President Trump said he believes Twitter put him in the White house: “It’s a very bad thing, Twitter’s role in that,” he said.

“If it’s true that he wouldn’t be president if it weren’t for Twitter, then yeah, I’m sorry.”

Impeachment is a very remote possibility. The Republicans know it'd be worse for them and without them driving it, it will never happen.  They are in control of both houses now.

Democratic establishment shies away from Trump impeachment talk:

I can understand the democrats taking this as slow as possible. They want to give Trump plenty of time to demolish the Republican Party, so that in 2018 they have a chance to retake both Senate and House. At that point they push for impeachment and make sure Pence will be disqualified as well. Then it'll be either the dem house speaker (Pelosi?) stepping up to be president, or they'll force a new presidential election.

Comey's Dad thinks trump is nuts not his son. Duh!

""I never was crazy about Trump," J. Brien Comey told USA Today's affiliate in North Jersey. "I’m convinced that he’s nuts. I thought he belonged in an institution. He was crazy before he became president. Now he’s really crazy.""
