Brzezinski and Scarborough co-present the MSNBC breakfast show, Morning Joe, which has increasingly derided President Trump since he took office.

In recent weeks, Scarborough has called him a "bumbling dope", resembling "a kid who pooped in his pants", while Brzezinski has mocked members of the administration as "lobotomised".

Hypocrisy, no surprise there.

When lefty celebs, commentators, "journalists" constantly deride Trump with vile speech and personal insults, of course this does not erode the reputation of the Office of the President.

Each to their own. Personally I would find it reprehensible behaviour for similar social media commentary by the leader of my country. IMO Trump's negative and vulgar Twitter comments are extremely low gutter politics and an ugly character flaw. Trump - MAGA - an enormous deceit.

Trump is at it again, eroding the reputation of the Office of the President; this individual should not be the leader of the American people.

Donald Trump's Twitter tirade against journalist Mika Brzezinski draws strong criticism from Repblicans

 http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-06-30/trumps-mika-brzezinski-insults-draw-strong-republican-criticism/8665574

Excellent play by President Trump.  While the press and resistance members are whining about the tweet,  he gets the job done.

If you don't think these tweets are cheese in the maze, look at what Trump did today while the fake news media was focused on PsychoJoe & Yoko singing "Give MSNBC a Chance":

*got a new sugar deal with Mexico

*imposed sanctions on China for unfair economic banking practices

*held an energy roundtable

*DEFINED THE "CLOSE FAMILY" under the USSC approved vetting very tightly, excluding grandparents, nephews, etc. HUGE!

*Saw the House pass two important immigration bills.

Did you hear of any of this? No. Media is totally focused on fake news about the tweets . . . which is exactly how Trump wants it. He knows coverage of these, no matter how good for America, will not be positive. So let them all take effect.

Not sure where you get your news, but nice spins.  There's a lot more to the sugar deal than Trump's misleading tweets.  More fake news from the POTUS.

Trump’s Doubtful Claims About a Gang and Mexican Sugar

The deal is certainly sweet for American and Mexican sugar growers, and helps create a more constructive atmosphere for Nafta negotiations, Mr. Pearson said. “But who loses?” he said. “All of the sugar consuming manufacturers, the bakers, the confectioners and we consumers lose.”

Congrats!  MAGA...via misleading Tweets...LOL

Idiotic tweets are a strategy?  That's a new idiotic rationalization.

Please give the sources for your information.  I suspect if these things did happen they did so with little involvement or knowledge from Trump.

From a quick check doesn't seem that your claims reflect any meaningful reality e.g. The China matter is just a sanction on two individuals and a Chinese bank for dealings with N.K.- this is a major achievement??? - LOL

The so called Muslim ban, is not in fact a ban and in any case is a watered down version of original proposal - oh and guess what, it's a fact Pakistanis and Saudis planned and carried out more terror attacks in the US than any other nationality yet are not on the named country list?????.

Finally if you believe Trump's social media messaging is actually planned strategic deception - :cheesy:

Interesting article.  Too bad Smith died.

https://www.vox.com/2017/6/29/15896582/trump-russia-michael-flynn-wsj

A new report raises some big questions about Michael Flynn and Russian hackers

Quote

The Wall Street Journal describes how one Trump supporter reached out to hackers — and dropped Flynn’s name.

“He said, ‘I’m talking to Michael Flynn about this — if you find anything, can you let me know?’” said Eric York, a computer-security expert from Atlanta who searched hacker forums on Mr. Smith’s behalf for people who might have access to the emails. ...

... In phone conversations, Mr. Smith told a computer expert he was in direct contact with Mr. Flynn and his son, according to this expert. ... The expert said that based on his conversations with Mr. Smith, he understood the elder Mr. Flynn to be coordinating with Mr. Smith’s group in his capacity as a Trump campaign adviser.

I just finished reading the article, the gang deportation claim is unsubstantiated and almost certainly fake news.

The sugar deal is pandering to politically active sugar producers in the US.  They are insignificant economically, employ few people, drive up prices for the rest of the country, and, in Florida, heavily polluting.  Just the sort of industry we shouldn't protect.

Are these the type of people who support Trump?  Unreal.  The most bizarre ad I've ever seen from a supposedly reputable organization.  They should be ashamed.  Along with any for agreeing with it.  Terrible times we live in.  These types of ads should be banned.

Watch this recently released ad from the National Rifle Association, starring right-wing pundit Dana Loesch. It comes this close to calling for a civil war against liberals:

Once a sleazeball.

Always a sleazeball.

The most hilarious thing about this entire disgusting trump saga is that there are still people that think the horrible clown will change.

Trump No Longer Seems Able to Hide His Raw Misogyny. Good.

When you’re under pressure, it can be harder to hide your true self. And Trump’s true self is a pig.

...

If there is the barest sliver of consolation, it’s that Trump appears almost as miserable and anxiety-ridden as we are. He’s losing the tiny bit of control he had. It’s better for Trump to show us all who he really is than to let his lackeys pretend he’s remotely worthy of his office. Every time he tweets, he reveals his presidency as a disgusting farce. Let’s hope he keeps doing it.

How many blacks ended up hanging from lamp posts and trees because of people like you? Good job you and your kin were not around with a rope! I guess the operative word here is 'Apparently'. Apparently you think you hear something and then apparently you believe it without a shred of reality or evidence.

The words you write were indeed said - not recently and they were said by Joe Scarborough. But don't let the truth creep in the way of hateful rhetoric eh!

So if you guys seem to agree with 'guilty by association', how does it feel to have treason against your nation hanging over your heads? When do you become ashamed of your nationality and the reaming rimming out you are giving the Russians.

Lefty celebs, commentators, journalists and whatnot - have one thing in common: they are not the President of the United States. As such, the bar for their behavior, and words aired to public space, is different. As for respect for the office of the President, two points: (1) Trump himself showed none of that during Obama's term, and (2) Trump shows none of that during his own term.

You mean Trump is not getting praised for doing all them things he's actually supposed to be doing anyway under his job description? Right. Other than (as detailed above) many of the items mentioned are dodgy, have tenuous relationship with fact or doubtfully included much by way of Trump's involvement, there's this - a whole lot of the policies pushed under Trump's administration are not popular with all voters. There is no requirement for them being advanced to be celebrated.

You might like the clown con man but be honest, if you didn't relate to him ideologically (whatever he is this minute) would you be defending his behavior?

Yes, I get that, but there is another aspect of how he is nothing like a legitimate president should be. He's damaging the nation's democratic culture, perhaps permanently.

It was ripe to be damaged, though. Otherwise Trump would have never been elected. But this goes back to addressing wider issues than Trump, and apparently  the so-called "resistance" isn't about that.
