Police in Hua Hin have arrested a man of mixed Australian and Thai parentage. His house and garden was full of hundreds of ganja plants and he was selling the drug locally.

Eighteen killed and 22 injured in bus plunge into a ravine in Uttaradit province

UTTARADIT: -- Eighteen passengers who are mostly retirees of CAT Telecom Plc were killed and 22 others injured when a tour bus in which they were travelling plunged into a 70-metre ravine on a mountainous road in Uttradit’s Muang district on Tuesday.

Grand Palace will be closed to public and tourists on Dec 1-2

BANGKOK: -- The Bureau of the Royal Household on Tuesday announced that paying tribute to the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej by members of the public at the Grand Palace would be suspended for two days on December 1-2 in order to facilitate the holding of a Royal merit-making ceremony to mark the 50th day of the passing of the late King.

One-day trip to Chachoengsao by steam engine train on December 5
