Australian diplomats set to meet teen drug suspect in Bali

CANBERRA, Australia (AP) — Australian diplomats will meet Wednesday with an Australian teenager detained on suspicion of drug possession during end-of-school celebrations on the Indonesian resort island of Bali, Australia's foreign minister said.

Satun ready for UNESCO's inspection on Satun Geopark

 

SATUN, 23 November 2015 (NNT) - Satun provincial authorities are preparing for the arrival of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) officials who will inspect Satun Geopark. The Thai government earlier sent a request to UNESCO, asking that Satun Geopark be listed as a global geopark.

PHUKET: -- The Phuket Marine Office has filed a formal police complaint against a contractor for dumping rocks and sand onto a beach at the northern tip of the island while it was carrying out an artificial reef project for the Phuket Fisheries Office.
