DPM Prawit says DSI must enforce law

BANGKOK: -- Deputy prime minister and defense minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwan said the imminent arrest of Phra Dhammachayo, abbot of Dhammakaya temple, won't shake him even if untoward incident will happen.

He also said the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) must enforce the law to arrest him if he is guilty.

Gen Prawit Wongsuwan’s comment came after the Office of the Attorney-General requested the Department of Special Investigation to bring him to the OAG for prosecution for money laundering conspiracy, cooperation in money laundering and receiving ill-gotten gains from the Klongchan Credit Union Cooperative.

Gen Prawit said everything would be handled under the laws.

He said he was not worried if the arrest is carried out under the justice system which the Minister of Justice is responsible.

Have you ever actually posted one single positive thing on TVF about Thailand, every time I see one of your posts it some sort slight or insult at something Thai, do you actually live here and if so I can't figure out why, what exactly have you achieved in your life so far that gives you the right to be so critical of others - go on dream up some personal background stuff so we can all laugh at you for a change, and you are not the only one behaving like this on TVF there are a few others.

why not offer some suggestions on how to you would solve some of these issues that you seem so keen to ridicule Thailand about

Now there's a brilliant idea!!!

A picture of the surprised facial expressions among the DSI staff would be priceless.

This is a real scary statement.

He also said the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) must enforce the law to arrest him if he is guilty.

I thought only the courts determined that.

Only joking - we know the courts do as they are told...

I find it rather surprising that you have reacted so critically to what is obviously an amusing yet realistic comment by 'colinneil'. Surely you are aware of the protracted/blundering way this fiasco has been handled so far. If not, I suggest you take your head out of the junta sandpit and read a bit more.

Predictable post from one of the leading junta fanboys on here. This whole episode had been a mega cock-up. If you think it's been well handled then you're even more brainwashed than I thought you were.

look like the temple is not Within the kingdom. Get some balls et go get him. If you wanna hide from RTP just go to that temple. It's a free land.

Just a reminder that posts using derogatory nicknames or intentional misspelling of people’s names  will be removed.  If you don’t want your post to be removed, spell people’s names correctly.

If there's ANY person on this forum who has the right to be so negativ than it's mr Colin.

Don't you know that they drove him off the road so he is paralized and sits in a wheelchair all days?

Is that true?

" DPM Prawit says DSI must enforce law "

because, he added, it is painfully obvious that the RTP cannot.
