R.I.P. to Peng Chang-kuei (age 98).

Ho ho ho to General Tso Tso Tso!

Yes, it's greasy.

Yes, it's sugary.

Yes, it's gloppy.

Yes, it's American.

But it's freakin' delicious. OK, not even close to my favorite "Hunan" dish but the popularity of this dish on Chinese American menus can't be denied!

Not available in Thailand.

american chinese food made me violently ill when I was a kid...but then later I found meself in NE China and there was no choice and it was a 'new day' experience...

and I returned to england and wouldn't eat nothin' but stir frys and rice and noodles and my glaswegian wife eyed me warily: 'ye gettin' all slitty eyed on me?...'

it was like with my girlfriend when I was 18 and took acid fer the first time and then was no longer interested in sex...

ye say this guy made fried chicken?...never seen nothin' in china wid chicken except inna stir fry...

You should try real Cantonese style crispy fried chicken. Never seen it in Thailand though.
