Where to buy Re-Entry Permit

Featured Replies

Hi, so my Non-B visa is from Lopburi immigration but I'm in Bangkok for the next week until I travel back to the UK for Christmas and New Year next week.

As my flight leaves at 6.00AM, I worry that I won't be able to buy my re-entry permit from BKK airport next week as it will be closed between midnight and 5.00am.  Can I go to the airport one day this week and buy the re-entry permit or not as I won't get have a boarding pass?

What are my other options? Thanks in advance.

You can only get a re-entry permit at the airport if you have a boarding pass.

I suggest go early for check in and be at the re-entry permit office when it opens at 5 am. That should give you enough time make your flight I think.

To save time getting the re-entry permit I suggest you have a completed TM8 form with a 4 X 6 cm photo attached. Download: http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/pdf/tm8.pdf

Also have copies of your passport photo page, visa, entry stamp, extension stamp and TM6 departure card.

Thank you UJ I can clear my mind of the clutter now,..............

OP - if you have not yet flown out of BKK you will need to be aware of the very recent relocation of the re-entry permit office there, as described in this thread on the Suvarnabhumi forum:-
