What's been said to you to make you chuckle or think?

My favourite quote must be the one from my mother-in-law when my wife told her about the coup. With a shrug of her shoulders, the dear old lady said in Thai "So what?" - I suppose when you have lived through as many coups are she has, what's one more?

My gaffe - trying in speak Thai in a 7-11. I was trying to say to the young girl, "Have you got a large bottle of milk?" It did not quite come out that way. I said "Have you got large breasts?" Much to her amusement and mine, she looked down and said, "No. only small ones!" I have been back to that 7-11 on a few occasions and if she sees me she always looks down and says "Same, same!"
