We've seen some serious organisations hacked over the last few years; the US Army comes to mind; 1Bn Yahoo users, Talk Talk, etc etc so I can't comprehend how the Thai authorities believe they are "safe"; no one is safe.

When you factor in that most Thai Govt computers still use XP, the have non-registered or non-existent AV, the general level of IT awareness, user aptitude and overall common sense is low then it leads to me to believe that any and all data is at risk. 

It's only a question of time before we're going to see an embarrassing demonstration with lots of data openly in the public domain.

And these old operating systems are not supported anymore. Very vulnerable to hackers.

Just by saying that he invited the hackers to do what they do best. Way to go.
