There's an emerging phenomenon of ' religious " institutions operating solely

for profit and self enrichments where wealth comes first and worship comes

second, as with the case of rouge temples and abbots and the tiger temple,

in essence, they're nothing but business for profit while out of pure greed

trying very hard to circumvent the law of the land and take flight when their

dirty deeds has

been exposed and their safety is in peril....

You are quite right.  And it has been emerging for thousands of years.  There are millions, probably billions of slow learners on this planet.  Same as it ever was.  Same as it ever was.  Same as it ever was, as the song goes!

It's so easy to flee Thailand.  I've walked over (and back) borders several times - sometimes with officials nearby, sometimes without.

Is the Dammakaya leader a guy who gives speeches while continually smiling and pretending to be bubbly with mirth?   I saw part of a TV presentation, several years ago, and saw a Thai Buddhist head monk acting like that.  My first and lasting impression was:  what a jerk!   Yet that's one of the hallmarks of being human:  being so captivated and adulatory of someone who acts the part - that certain gullible people want to see.
