Duterte threatens to throw corrupt officials out of a helicopter — and says he’s done it before

By Kristine Guerra

WASHINGTON: -- In his latest controversial statement, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, known for his bloody anti-drug war that has killed thousands, threatened to throw corrupt officials out of a helicopter, saying he has done it before, to a kidnapper, and won't hesitate to do so again.

“I will pick you up in a helicopter to Manila, and I will throw you out on the way,” Duterte said in Tagalog in front of a crowd in the Camarines Sur province Tuesday, according to GMA News. “I've done it before. Why would I not do it again?”

The Filipino president was visiting areas of the province in the northern island of Luzon that were recently affected by the deadly Typhoon Nock-Ten, locally known as Nina. The storm, one of the strongest since Typhoon Haiyan ravaged the Philippines' Visayas region in 2013, killed at least six people and displaced hundreds of thousands, according to the Philippine Star.

First people start complaining that there are too many drug dealers and too much corruption, and the government doesn't do anything about.

In fact the government does, as they put them on trial, which with they laugh because the juridical system in most countries in the world is set up such that a good lawyer get them free in no time. Then they continue at an even faster pace as before.

The juridical system clearly doesn't work.

The only way to get rid of them, which is what the world population wants, is to eradicated them. Destroy them.

Kudoos to Duterte for doing the job.

Shame on the hypocrites who whine about drug dealers and corrupt officials, then next wine when someone gets rid of them.

You really don't have a clue what you're talking about, do you? What Duterte's death squads mainly do is kill drug users, the occasional small time drug dealer and a whole lot of innocent by-standers. Do you really think that will solve the drug problem?

And by the way, shame on you for supporting extrajudicial killings/executions.

It's scary when anyone in charge put him/herself above the law....if proved to be corrupt, then removed from office and thrown in jail.. for a long time, since corruption is a main obstacle for progress and thus is a plague for the ordinary people and a threat to society , it should also be punished accordingly. Just throw away the key and save the helo fuel.

No one minds that Drug Dealers are executed but when innocent Bystanders and children are killed in the process One must as are extra judicial executions really the answer. What if you were falsely accused and your family gunned down. Is it still ok then . Just collateral damage. There is a reason we have due process. To avoid lynch mobs

And of course you can proof this.

Feel free to post the proof for your claims here, by the way unfounded accusations from the opposition, or claims from the killed drugs dealers families are not considered proof
