As a Norwegian I can only say we know how to build good quality vessels in my country. Norway used to be the world leaders in building ships.  

It should be doing ok in Pattaya even if its more than 20 years old.

The source came from Yahooka , not me .  

 

But it is a fact that most catamarans built in Norway in the 90's were sold to China , I would say around 80% of them operating in Hong Kong/China are built in Norway.  

 

But yes there are also some Chinese built catamarans but they are mostly new vessels , I believe this one was built in the 90's. 

 

This is the latest model shipped to Hong Kong from Norway a few months ago
