HUA HIN: -- A group of friends in Hua Hin got a nasty shock when they went to wake up a friend on Sunday.

They had been calling since Saturday afternoon but knowing that Chaya, 19, was a person who liked his sleep they let him lie in.

Returning on New Year's Day in the morning there was still no reply at his two story lodgings in a housing estate. When evening came they were worried and got Chaya's sister to retrieve a key and open up the property.

They found their friend face up in bed - not sleeping but dead.

Police said there was no sign of a struggle or other suspicious circumstances.

The body was sent for autopsy to find out why he had died.

Chaya was a first year undergraduate at a well known university.

The computer in front of the bed, explains it all. Nothing shocking. Many 20-30yr olds died this way, same as Singapore.

Oh, electrocuted? Or did an online ghost tell him to go to Nirwana? Nothing shocking, when a 20 year old dies?

unusual but not shocking, it happens, a 10 year old girl died on an aircraft from Canada to the UK,  some young fit men playing football die from cardiac arrest.

Yes there's a special name for that heart issue  recall happened at Arsenal match to top footballer and top heart expert was in crowd and saved him. It's very rare. Alcohol is another factor if he was seriously drunk. Sad for family. RIP

That girl had advanced sickle cell anemia and should have been flying to Nigeria for a Christmas holiday visit to family.. (The family set up a go fund me page to pay for the funeral.) So not much of a shock.

Anyway, look at the kid's  bedroom set up. He seems to have been a heavy smoker. Sort of disgusting to have a big urn filed with butts next to his bed.

There is no cluster of rotten toad than people hanging around a topic like this. You are the most rotten sections of foreigners to be found throughout the land and you all need to grow up and have some respect if not for this poor lad then for yourselves.. now .. crawl away to your rotten lives..

This was posted around 10pm Mukdahan time.

Was this posted under the influence of alcohol? (or other intoxicants)

It seems to be a rather strange and interesting comment.

You appear to have moved through the stages of intoxication through your post.

1.We start with a news story about an unexplained death.

2.You suddenly go off on a vulgar tangent. (talking about masturbating)

3.You are shouting. (capital letters)

4.Your comments are nonsense. (suggesting death through over-masturbation is common and may have occurred here)

5.A sudden switch to morose, introspective fatalism. (acknowledgement of mortality)

6.A small window of lucidity. (leading to another dramatic switch in tone)

7.Jolly drivel. (attempt to erase the effects of the previous morose comment)

8.Unconsciousness. (end of post)

All this empathy and RIP is a bit boring, not much point in posting, once you've read ''Oh how awful'' a hundred times it's time for a little humour.

I know your new at this I can tell by your number of posts. Your still trying to gain your computer legs and that is OK to. If you had more experience it is obvious you would understand I was not referring to the dead lad but the following quote  Many 20-30yr olds died this way, same as Singapore. No apology necessary we all fluff it from time to tome.

He might be trapped inside of a video game now and can't get out.

Yes,

I once carried out a mental health assessment (MHE) on a young man in Sydney,Australia and I think that he may have been South Korean-but the nationality really doesn't matter...

For five days he had sat at his computer entering a "secret code" that prevented the world from being destroyed. He fought tooth and nail, even in his enfeebled state, when the police finally kicked down the door (on my instructions) because he had this duty to perform and had not eaten or drank for five days.

Very close to death.Lost in the internet world. Many people that I have interviewed had entered that space and the return journey was prolonged and very difficult.
