I'm shocked that anyone is shocked! I'm happy no one was killed but at the same time when are the cops going to crack down on the mental teenagers ripping around on scooters. They generally cause the accidents and just carry on. I wish their parents were severely fined, like 100,000 baht so when it hurts their pockets they might beat some sense into these kids because obviously they grow up to  be the mental car and scooter drivers!

IMO cars & pickups, mini-buses, tour buses and trucks are generally the cause of accidents in that order. Motorcyclists try to keep out of their way but sometimes the bigger vehicle just carries on through with the "I'm bigger than you, get out of my way" attitude. The most common inconsideration of cars etc to motorcyclists is U-turning and overtaking then immediately turning left. I have to take emergency maneuvers every day to avoid some 4 wheeled idiot plowing into me. Last accident was a car who reversed into me while I was stationary behind him wondering what he was gonna do/where he was gonna go next. And it was a farang driver.
