Hi guys.went to solicitor yesterday to get docs for visa run on 11th jan. Was told by receptionist we had to pay tax bill which is not due until 14th before we could get docs for visa run. Is this correct?

You don't need it do the visa run.

If applying for a non-b visa to work that might be required.
