Localized Flooding in Hua Hin (Khao Takiab)

Featured Replies

After about 14 hours of not stop rain in the Hua Hin area, the streets in Khao Takiab are beginning flood.

The rain has been slow but continuous.

Last year my street was torn out and a whole new flood control pipe was installed.

Of course the street is flooded this evening.

About 10 inches of water. Nothing like down south, of course.

Many tourists with umbrellas looking dejected walking in the pouring rain.

I had a couple of beers in that area tonight - it wasn't flooded nearer to Hua Hin by Cicada, I didn't go down as far as Takiab.

I can hear the heavy rain in Hua Hin outside right now, it's been raining for days around here !

Was told this morning that PKK had 245mm and HH had 182 mm in 24 hour period.
