OK, no offense, I go to Jim's, Sukhumvit Soi 8, just because I know him for many years. Believe he is as bad as anybody else.

Don't go to any of the touristy tailor shops. They are just set up as tourist traps. Ask a Thai speaking person to take you to Bang Lamphu and find a tailor.

On a similar note, anyone recommend a tailor in Phuket (Patong area i think) - I need new threads and the wife wants to treat me.
