That report in “Pattaya Today” was wrong. Nothing has changed regarding the tourist visa:

1. It is valid for travel to Thailand within 90 days from the visa’s issue date.

2. Upon arrival in Thailand, you receive permission to stay for 60 days.

3. Before expiration of the 60 days, you can apply for an extension of 30 days. Fee: 1,900 Baht.

I have a question,after doing the 3rd visa run in cambodia or other borders...am i able to buy TOURIST visa in penang? how many days exactly are we allowed to stay here in thailand including the 90day(3times visa run) policy?can anyone explain it to me please..coz il be doin my 3rd visa run by december 25..and after the 3rd visa run?what will happen?

You have been answered in your other thread. The max entry without visa is 90 days. As far as we know you can then obtain a visa and enter using it for the normal period of that visa.
