Ape1983
Gents, I have a parcel heading towards my old address in Koh Samui rather than where I want it to go in Chiang Mai. The parcel is now with Thai post and will require import tax to be paid at local post office. Has anybody else been in a similar situation? I don't speak Thai but see the only option is to go to the main post office in Chiang Mai and explain the situation with passport and delivery receipt. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks Jon
LivinLOS
With DHL you could just call and redirect.. With EMS ?? Thai Post.. I wouldnt imagine they will deliver mail to anything other than the delivery address. A pink card will be produced when they try to deliver it, after 2 pink cards its returned to sender. It will be returned to sender. Edit: I didn't notice the DHL in the title before. Which one is it? If DHL then yes LivinLOS is spot on.
