Renewed Non-O extension, does it reset 90 day reporting

Just renewed my Non-O extension for another year (visited CW on December 27th 2016, extension to January 4th, 2018). I was due for a 90 day report January 4th, 2017. Did my visit on December 27th reset the 90 day reporting?

Your 90 day report date was not reset when you did your extension unless immigration put a new receipt for doing one in your passport.

You could of done your report on the day you went to immigration.

Thanks. I did think about going to the other counter but after sitting there from 9:30 to 4:30 was fed up. I think they stop giving tickets at 4 or something like that.

 

So if I was due to report Jan 4, 2016, this Monday will be 12 days late. What's the fine?
