Many provinces continue to donate to people in South

BANGKOK, 23 January 2017 (NNT) - Many provinces in the upper part of Thailand have sent food and necessary supplies to the flood-affected southern provinces.

In Khon Kaen, military officers and volunteers on Sunday put donated items totaling 20 tons into a freight train of the State Railway of Thailand. The donations will be given to people in the South.

Si Sa Ket province gave 16 tons of rice, instant noodles, dry food and drinking water to the provincial agricultural department in the flood-hit Nahon Si Thammarat. More than 2.1 million baht in donation from Si Sa Ket will be given to the government to help people in the South.

In Phrae, many organizations have continuously arranged activities to receive donations for the flood-affected people. The province will continue to receive donations until the flooding situation in the South is resolved.
