You have a really odd view of the people on this forum. Definitely some projection going on here. I'm guessing you feel, deep down, that you are a member of the "sob[?] bunch", or that Thais consider you as such, so you feel the need to find people to label as "bad foreigners". This then allows you to say, "There! Those are the bad ones! I'm not one of them! I can't be one of them, because I'm pointing them out and saying how bad other foreigners are! This makes me one of the good ones!" But please, continue your rage therapy... 🙄 -

Yes indeed! Having suffered from this condition for so many years, and having met with 'blank looks' by every single doctor whom I have consulted in the UK and Thailand, I'm pretty confident (with my scientific hat on), that the diagnosis by Dr Google is correct. (The part that actually convinced me are my clubbed toenails!) -

Yes, the UK allows for additional documents, but the UK is an exception. However, even there the data is linked. There are two formats; One is an overlap passport and the other is the additional passport. In each case, the passports are linked. The data for each passport is identical. The UK allows for additional passports to be issued when there is frequent travel as per the scenario you describe, or travel between incompatible countries. For example: Saudi Arabia and Libya. The information in the passports is the same. They are duplicates of the data. Here is the guidance that applies Here are the processing rules for additional passports. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/additional-passports/additional-passports-accessible#updating-main-index Linking of additional passports in the data base that identifies the passport ties. 7.8 Additional passports on AMS: updating Main Index If a customer holds 2 or more British passports (of any kind), you, the examiner working on AMS, must manually update MI records with a passport note on every valid passport record the customer has, including the new passport (unless you are told not to). (explanation -This exception is intended for certain government officials for obvious reasons.) You must follow the Multiple British passports and nationality statuses guidance for how to do this and check the passport note correctly shows on MI. And yes Additional passports are supposed to be cancelled when renewed unless they qualify for the overlap period. 7.7 Additional passports on AMS: cancelling the correct passport When we renew an additional passport, we will physically and electronically cancel it (unless they are frequent ‘overlap’ travellers). I expected it would the intent would be understood, that only one set of identifying characteristics and data would apply to a passport holder. You are describing a situation that is not much different than having a duplicate document with the exception that the document does not state duplicate, unless accessed by the UK officials.
