Another star chiming in. The trouble with all this 'resistance' and carrying on like they're speaking for everyone is, they ain't. Millions of people voted the other way, remember Bruce, and (despite the Ruski hacking claims) he got in legitimately. Overlooking this and trashing the choice of others is just bad form.

I agree. It's not like Trump's a Kenyan Muslim socialist like the other guy.

Just another "ENTERTAINER" thinking that given his being popular  that he has something intelligent to say. HE DOESN'T"T.

You're right. Being an entertainer  doesn't mean you're speaking intelligently. Perfect example of such an entertainer -- trump! :post-4641-1156694572:

We're not "supposed" to do anything of the kind when a new president does NOT represent the majority with his policy agenda (if you can figure it out),

who comes into office with clear signs of MENTAL ILLNESS. (See trump's twitter history.)

Get over it, he who shouts "MADAME PRESIDENT" a year before the election.

Mind you I know all your likes and dislikes, so I can understand how you might

feel threatened by a legitamily elected President Donald J Trump

Shouting "Lock her up" is much better, you are right!

But that - of course- was before the election, to get the votes of the gullible masses!

After the election...well not so much, said the Peeping Tom in Chief!

Love to hear Trump and Repubicans complaining about "Give Trump a chance". Maybe you were in a coma during the Obama years? The publicly stated goal of Republicans was to make Obama a one term president, and to oppose him on every measure they could. The Garland stonewalled nomination which lasted 9 months fine example of Congress not performing its duties.

Bruce Springsteen wasn't born to rich family, didn't have millions from daddy. He earned his money by working for it. Bruce used his celebrity to have his voice heard. Trump used his celebrity to get elected by credulous people who think reality TV is real. They are due for a major shock when reality sets in.

He's a musician. Those who also support Hilary are showing what petulant self opinionated arrogant self righteous pompous twerps they really are.

Now, if the very dubious Mrs. Clinton had won, and Trump supporters were acting like this, those same hypocrites would be trying to shout them down, deny them their opinions and act like Stalinists.

I think the Trump supporter would have said."we tried, we did our best but we lost, now get behind the POTUS. The Clinton supporters are shocked because they know that they never got out there and did the leg work, just relied on good old progressive CA and NY being enough. It will take them a long time to get over it, but if these knuckleheads think that destroying property and hurting people is the way to go, it demonstrates where the progressives brains are, they are complete morons, scumbags.

Even if your assertions were true, there are those of us who care about policy. Who don't want huge tax breaks for the rich, who don't want Wall Street deregulated, who believe that health care is a right and not a privilege.

And of course it's absurd to condemn Hillary for lying and cheating when Trump is objectively shown to be the all time lying champion and just pleaded no contests to fraud charges.

If memory serves, Bill Clinton deregulated Wall Street. Is that correct/ I could be wrong.

What justification is needed, have you ever heard the moron speak?

As a matter of fact, I have, many times. Drank a bunch of beers with him too.

I was heavily involved in the formation of Vietnam Veterans of America, and Bruce was one of our strongest supporters. There were many times when we were at the end of our rope trying to pay the bills, and Bruce stepped up to the plate. Without Bruce, VVA would have folded in the early days and 45 years of helping Vietnam vets fight the system would not have happened. He also gave millions to labor unions, food banks, etc., during the hard times that were the Reagan years.

He is extremely well spoken, and considers everything before he does so, unlike many here on TV, yourself apparently among them.

Not all celebrity voices matter. Springsteen is an exception. He is massively popular beyond his talent, and rightfully so. Much more than the baby man newly installed not really legitimate president.

Springsteen resonates with all kinds of Americans, but most relevantly in this case, to the type of working class white Americans that trump CONNED to vote for him. trump should feel threatened by this voice of truth from Springsteen because many in his base RESPECT Springsteen much more than trump.

Springsteen DESERVES this respect. trump does not.

I never have laughed so hard  reading TVF than just now.  If this makes any thinned skinned  reader angry or whatever then those same readers should speak up when Thai woman are written about in FAR worse ways.  Very funny and very harmless!

I agree with you, but, it's only worth a smile at most.

May I make a recommendation? If you laughed out loud at that, maybe you should look at some movies by Peewee Herman and Pauly Shore. I'm sure you'll love them.

There are 3 million voters more than trumpalumpa's that disagree, like the republicans made a mistake in having Bush II Appointed they made a mistake Appointing trumpalumpa. I am not sure if you have been in the USA in the past 10 years, but red states have been so terribly gerrymandered in the support of republican candidates a democrat has little or no chance of being elected or heard. in a recent election process California and a few other states started having political district lines drawn by impartial non political committees, and it works. How do you think a governor & assembly can poison an entire cities drinking water and remain in office?

I have, he's an idiot and old man trying to be a rocker.

He's finished so I expect he has time on his hands

Meanwhile, Trump supporters are rightfully either laughed at, pitied,  and/or looked down on both at home and abroad. A group of citizens so willing to spread lies and be lied to with such consistency are pathetic and deserving of disdain. How is it even possible for Trump supporters to maintain their unsurpassed level of dishonesty and self delusion? Alternative facts???? Trump's mostly under-educated followers with a HUUUGE chip on their shoulders and an axe to grind are a pitiful, vengeful and yes, deplorable lot. At least the Boss has integrity, honesty and humility, whereby Trump is a thin-skinned,  man-child, narcissist, sociopath, pathological liar and truly the Pied Piper of stupid. It is no wonder his like-minded vacuous followers adore him so.

Yes, and that's why the anti-trump RESISTANCE is the real deal and not a short lived passing fancy. All living Americans already understand no president in their memory has entered office under so many clouds as trump. The RESISTANCE is real and it will not stop until trump is removed or worse case trump goes full on Putin and CRUSHES it.

in 1932 a man ran against a tired old president his original slogan was Freedom & Bread, later he was credited with a slogan of Make Germany Great Again, the man ran his campaign much like trumpalumpa.

These celebrities have, without doubt,  more talent than I as musicians, actors, etc. However, their opinions and declarations carry no more validity than anyone else. In the case of Lena Dunham, Sarah Silverstein, and a host of othe nobodies, they most certainly carry less. You are not the arbiters of knowledge or clairvoyance. Shut up and realize that a good old Kentucky boy working on his pickup doesn't need or want your Ivory Tower diatribe.

Ronald Reagan was also a second (if not 3d) rate actor. He started the ball rolling on the Great Recession of 2008 with his banking de-regulation policies, increasing taxes on the working class by ±4 trillion dollars, illegally selling weapons to our great friends Iran to get funds for the right wing Contras after Congress forbid him from aiding them. Tell us please what are your opinions of trumpalumpa supporters Scott Baio, Gene Simmons, Ted Nugent, or Kid Rock?

The culture of celebrity believes that an outdated singer has merit and gravity in discussing politics...and he is an idiot because the very same culture of celebrity and cult of personality that makes Springsteen think he is politically relevant and informed is the SAME culture that elected Trump...Springsteen and other elites are clueless and out of touch...they force their opinions on everyone, and consider their ill informed opinions to be fact...citizens of the USA just got tired of being told they are racist, deplorable, and stupid by people who equate luck with knowledge and moral superiority...the election of Trump was a protest vote, and if singers and actors would just shut up and keep their stupidity to themselves, Trump would likely be a one term president...instead, if Trump fails, guess who he legitimately can blame?  The indulged Hollywood elite...

What better way for these outdated entertainers to get back into the spotlight and possibly gain some recognition from their negative comments about Trump.

He started the ball rolling on the great recession of 2008! He had been dead since 2004. This is just silly.

No, I simply shared my observations of his spelling errors, errors making his post difficult to read. if you are thinking of my spelling trumpalumpa is a spelling error, it is not, I intentionally use lower case letters to show my utter disrespect for this vile excuse for a human being. My post had correct spelling and grammar.
