Still no motive, suspects in murder of British businessman

CHONBURI — Police said Wednesday they have yet to determine a motive or perpetrator behind the slaying of a British expat near the resort town of Pattaya.

Suspected killers of a British web designer in Pattaya escape to Cambodia

PATTAYA: -- A Briton and a South African who were suspected to be involved in the killing of a British web designer in Pattaya on Tuesday January 24 have escaped into Cambodia on the same day, police said on Wednesday.

Lawyer and interpreter are to be arranged for an official accused of theft in Japan

BANGKOK: -- The Department of Intellectual Property has coordinated with the Thai embassy in Tokyo and the Thai consular office in Osaka to arrange for a lawyer and an interpreter for a senior official detained by Japanese for allegedly stealing three paintings from a hotel.
