elektrified
1. Wait. 2. Use Registered Post next time (Rong Tabien). 3. Use FedEx if you have to.
LivinLOS
EMS doesnt track outside of Thailand IIRC.. Had the same happen.
tx22cb
There was the Chinese NY but 15 days is too long. I suggest taking your receipt to the Post Office, queue up and ask them to check for you. If you have a Thai-speaking pal, all the better. For the 850 Baht that you paid, they should be pleased to help you. A previous poster says " EMS doesnt track outside of Thailand IIRC.", which is odd, if you used International EMS (there is also Domestic EMS service). Otherwise he would have nothing to track. 7 hours ago, LivinLOS said: EMS doesnt track outside of Thailand IIRC.. Had the same happen. A normal registered airmail to Germany DOES. I had this case about two months ago. Also next day at Suvarnabhumi and then after 4 days or so appearing on Deutsche Post tracking (status on Thai site does not change). Another 2 days to the recipient. The status display for Suvarnabhumi in English is somewhat cryptic: Quote SUVARNABHUMI MAIL CENTRE Departure From Outward OE In Thai it reads something like "bag for export closed as exchange done"??? You always have to check on the destination countries tracking site after Suvarnabhumi. From experience years ago I suspect that the bottleneck/delay is the European post/customs inspection. From Germany to Thailand it took multiple days to reach a "Frankfurt airport" status.
KhunBENQ
Just google around and found this for the "OE": “Departure from outward office of exchange” And the site says that this means it is before the customs/security check. So a chance that Thai customs/security is the black hole. And still at the destination country customs can again delay the shipment.
KhunBENQ
I just checked back and have to correct. Thai tracking ended at Frankfurt Customs. And then appearing on Deutsche Post. I move the thread to General Topics, nothing CM specific and similar threads appear from time to time.

tartempion
I used that 850B EMS service once, to Belgium.Tracking also stopped at Bangkok, until many days later the missive showed up and got stuck 5 days at Brussels airport post office.I now sent an airmail letter at 24B and added 25B for "expres" feb 06.Waiting confirmation of receipt at destination...somewhat early now being 11 Feb... abab
Why talking when you dont know ? EMS is of course usually good and of course better than registered. Of course EMS can be tracked outside Thailand in most countries, but many won't track until customs clearance, I was expecting that everybody knows this in 2017 ? But of course anybody can fail sometimes, just like Fedex and other couriers cheaters. Edited February 11, 2017 by abab

There is no 25 thb for express, you just misunderstand again, the only added can be registration and its not 25 its 65 thb.

I used thailandpost.com, calculated the rate for int air 20 gr to Belgium, gives 24B, clicked right end on + for add on, that will show 65 for registered and 25 for express amongst others. Then went to the local post office, 24B, asked for express mail, letter got stamped with EXPRESS and was charged 24+25B, might still have the post note but am not going to check my pockets. If someone is ignorant it's you. Why are people on here always so ready to point the accusatory finger of blame solely at Thailand Post in the event of mail addressed to foreign parts going astray? In the OP's case, for example, it may well be down to those incompetent fools in Royal Mail or Parcel Force as to why his item of mail has not yet been tracked after arrival in the UK or delivered to his bank there! KhunBENQ
Again a comparable case. Delivered at my local post office on Feb 9. Next day in Suv. 6 days "in the dark". And now (5:15h German time) also at Deutsche Post transported from Frankfurt to Bonn: February 10, 2017 10:48:12 SUVARNABHUMI MAIL CENTRE Container Received February 10, 2017 11:34:41 SUVARNABHUMI MAIL CENTRE Departure From Outward OE February 16, 2017 18:15:00 Germany (DEFRAA) Accept February 16, 2017 18:15:00 Germany (DEFRAA) To Customs Quote The item was processed on Feb 17, 2017 at our Logistics Center in Bonn. lungbing
I received two letter today. One was posted 4 days ago in England, (yes 4 days) and the other was posted 10 days ago in Kuala Lumpur, which is a bit closer than England. There's no pattern to it at all. keeniau96
The last time I used DHL from Phuket it was stuck for 6 days at Paris airport. I querried DHL and two days later it arrived in Riga. DHL refunded my payment. That was the last time I used them and will be last time ever.

They refunded your payment and yet you won't use them again. It looks like they did the right thing and delivered it for free. I find DHL reliable. I sent a cell phone to the US. It was a great service and very quick. Defaming a service which did the right thing by offering a refund is a bit harsh... especially considering the document was delivered.
