JUTHARAT BOONMAN, 38, jumped at the opportunity to work for LPN Development under the listed developer’s programme of employing underprivileged women in non-construction jobs.

 

“I got the opportunity to work as a housekeeper at Lumpini Park Rama 3 Riverside despite graduating after primary school, and it has changed my life from labouring at a construction site to now generating income averaging Bt12,000 a month, as well as training me to do other jobs to bring in more money to support the family,” she said.

 

Her quality of life has improved and her earnings are also enough to meet her family’s needs.

Dead silence on another great topic. Come on guys. These ladies are advancing in life in a dignified manner they deserve a big hand. More of the same please from other employers with a heart. Come on you Negative Nellies.

My girlfriend works in HR and says the Thai government requires her to hire two "cripples" for every 100 normal employees or pay a huge fine.

 

Sometimes you need government regulations to "help" people make the right decisions ?

Thats why I gave this topic a push. I was able to take my safety hat off. It does bother me that a great topic like this got no play. Worrisome.
