SAMUT SAKHON: -- A video was posted on Facebook of a woman being manhandled by plain clothes police in to the back of a car.

She is trader at a market come to sell coffee and is furious that the police have got the wrong people for a gambling charge. Her customers were just dragged off without so much as a question, reported Manager Online.

The person taking the clip is threatened not to share the footage by a burly cop.

The altercation took place at the Thalee Thai Market in the Rama 2 area of Samut Sakhorn.

Police had been looking for gamblers but then arrested people queuing for a morning coffee and after the furious owner of the stall threw water at the officers she was dragged off screaming.

But all those involved were entirely innocent.

Though they got nothing in the way of an apology from the police for their heavy handed action.

Posters on Facebook condemned the police action. Some said the National Police bureau themselves had announced it was fine for the public to film them doing their duty, but they didn't like it when they did.

The entire RTP are a pox on the nation and all the good people who reside here. Until the present PM cleans up this entire group, ( top to bottom) it will continue to ignore his orders as well as the law of the land which the rest of us follow, with minor exceptions.

The good general has a chance to go down  in the history of Asia as cleaning up and eliminating a group which would be like curing a run away illness before it wipes out the potential this country has to stand with or even above Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.

Expect defamation/computer crime charges to be launched against whoever posted video any time soon.

Another black eye for this abominable outfit. Kudos for the person who uploaded the clip and the lady who stepped in to help the coffee seller.

Can we expect a few new inactive posts and panels / committees. Or will it be a computer crimes / defamation suit for the uploader of the clip?

What good general? You aren't actually saying anything realistic, are you?

You do realise it's not difficult to see you are being deceitful, don't you?

See what I mean.

Uh sorry no, what on earth does the behavior of the RTP have to do with politics. It is about greed, period.

It has as much to do with politics as your whitewashing of the significance of a powerful social force in an almost wholly corrupt system.

The 'thug mentality' is a prevalent feature in most cops all over the world. You must have a certain predisposition of character to wanting to be a cop in the first place: the need to have power over others, by any means necessary. The "serve and protect" label is just an embellishment for their thuggish behaviour.
Better to stay away from them as much as possible, just like you would do with lawyers and politicians.

Rule #1. Don't throw water on the Police.  Was it hot?

In some countries that is considered assault and could get you clubbed to death or shot.

Rule #2.  Make no judgement without knowing all the facts.

Was it an outstanding warrant issue?

The media seldom knows all of the facts and will always sensationalize most news articles.

Thanks to the thai people who still posting videos like this and i adore the woman which defends itself against the attacks of the police.

Totaly overdoing for nothing!

Now i understand more why they need new wappons for the bad guys out: but i sure they mean themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To teaching police that they have to serve the people was, as most of teaching here, not sucessfull.

Disgusting bullying thugs.

I don't condone their actions, one female to 3 males, quite comic actually, but she is lucky it wasn't 3 Ozzy cops, she would have been head 1st into the back of that ute. Praise to the by standers who came to her aid, big bullies, no doubt accepted in the Thai culture, I dare say 555

Maybe it's about time to stop referring to the nations leader as "the good general"

"The person taking the clip is threatened not to share the footage by a burly cop." Yup, Thai authorities hate facing the truth.

If they (authorities) are doing nothing wrong then they should not fear videos and comment.   Is it any wonder that Government wants to "control"  media?
