tropo
I read a year ago that it is important to register a sim card in Thailand as they will deactivate the card if you don't register it within a certain period of time. I've been using my sim for over a year already and have never bothered to activate it. My plan was to just buy a new sim card if they deactivate it at any point...but that hasn't been necessary as yet. I get messages on my cell in Thai script from time to time however I wouldn't know if they were warnings to activate my sim or not, or just other promotions. What's the deal here?
