Why on earth would Thailand have trained Urghur translators, and exactly who would have trained them??

I understand that Roti sellers are RTP approved translators !

Why do trials drag on so much here, one unfortunate guy i read about,

spent 10 years in jail,as he did not have bail money, and when he was

found guilty the maximum sentence they could give him was only 3 years,

they had gone threw 3 judges that had died and also several lawyers,

plus witnesses.

regards worgeordie

Because the dam lawyers are the ones making the money and will drag out all cases as long as they can in the Hub of Deception

So does China, with a 1.3 or 1.4 Billion population only  have one translator?

See how many Uigurs will get an exit visa from China....it might answer the question.

There are only 7.2 million people that speak Uighur

Lets hope the translators are not the pancake sellers from Koh Samui who speak very little Thai who were appointed to the B2...

Presumably there are plenty who can translate from Uighur to Chinese. Chinese to Thai shouldn't be a problem...

This is not the Burmese boys I think the evidence here is a little more solid. Just my opinion. I think they could have done better apprehending more people considering the silver tray loaded with bahts incentive. Their so called reaching out to others did not provide much. I guess us armchair sleuths will have to just sit back and see how it plays out. Not off to a good start I am afraid.

No, the evidence in this case was probably planted and most evidence against those guys is of disputable origins...

I am no expert, and like all the other armchair sleuths I don't have all the evidence, but just like the Koh Tao case the police was under pressure from high up to find the culprits, and again many mistakes were made !!! the Rohyngia translator was of disputable honesty and so on.....
